fried helped to answer the question. I admit i did not expect him to help me.

"i think you better review the chapter on electrostatics," he suggested.

I nodded, grateful for his help. I knew i had been slacking off in my studies, especially in physics. With fried's help, i felt i could catch up.

Later that day, in the physics lab, i was working on an experiment when fried approached me. "you need any help?" he asked.

I looked up and saw him holding a textbook. "yes, actually," i said. "i'm having trouble understanding this part about electric fields."

Fried sat down beside me and began to explain. As he talked, i realized how much i had missed by not paying attention in class. His explanation was clear and easy to follow, and i felt myself beginning to understand the concept.

"see?" he said, seeing the look of comprehension on my face. "you're not as dumb as you think you are."
